SMHS Marching Band - Prerequisites: Intermediate playing experience is required

The San Marino Marching Band is open to all SMHS students who show a general competency on their instrument. The Titan Marching Band performs at all home and away football games as well as three competitive Field shows during the first quarter of the school year (Sept. – Nov.) The group rehearses every school day at 7:00 am. Some weekend performances as well as night rehearsals are required. Concurrent enrollment in Concert Band or Wind Ensemble is expected. Besides football games and field shows, students in this group enjoy showing their school spirit by performing for pep rallies, the homecoming parade, and community events. This award-winning group has traveled to Calgary, Canada, Sydney, Australia and Orlando, Florida.
