Listen to holiday music and shop at the same time.  Come join the SMHS Wind Ensemble and Orchestra as they perform at the Pasadena Paseo on Friday, Dec. 16 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Each group will performa a 45 minute presentation of selected Christmas and holiday music including Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and Tchaikovsly’s Nutcracker Suite.

Friends, Friends and Alumni are cordially invited to the San Marino HS Music Department’s  annual Christmas Concert “Holiday Sounds” on Thursday, Dec. 15th  at 7:00 pm in the Neher Auditorium.  The presentation will feature the San Marino HS Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, all in their 2011 debut. Highlighted selections from the concert will include Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride and Tchaikovsky’s ”Nutcracker.”  Admission is free along with a reception following the concert.

Congratulations to all the members who auditioned and made the 2011/12 Titan Orchestra. An appreciation goes out to all who went through the audition process. Orchestra rehearsal starts on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7:00 am!!!  Your first concert is on Thursday, Dec 15.  Please come to the first rehearsal ready to play.
